Our Opportunity to Speak in Church

It was so wonderful to see so many of our friends and family attend our opportunity to speak in church (not a farewell) and at the gathering after. Thank you so much for taking the time to come and support us. It was a real treat to visit with you and to share in your spirits. Our hearts are filled with warm feelings and we are glowing with the support of those around us. We will continue to draw from your strength and example as we begin our new adventure.

Mission Call

We received our mission call to the Florida, Fort Lauderdale Mission. We are humbled and honored to be able to serve as missionaries for the Church of Latter-Day Saints. This is a great opportunity for us. We feel like we have been given so much and are glad for the opportunity to do a service that we love. We have been called to a proselyting mission, but will spend much of our time performing a new program called "Daily Dose" language training. We will be offering people the opportunity to learn English in simple, visual ways that will help them be better able to learn conversational English. We have had several training sessions already and are so excited to go and present this program to the people in Florida. We will be gone for 18 months, beginning in early November, and we will keep you posted on our adventures!
